Stewart advises clients on a wide variety of general corporate, banking and finance, real estate, commercial, estate, and other matters. His experience spans to the international arena and he is a liaison to the firm's constituents in Italy. In addition to representing individuals of varying wealth, he has assisted many financial and investment institutions in secured lending transactions and serves as counsel to a number of corporations and other business entities. Stewart’s counseling has attracted an array of clients spanning the market place including the real estate, financial, medical, entertainment, and technology industries.

Having worked with international institutions, and serving as a foreign legal consultant to an established legal practice in Italy, he has established contacts among several prominent international organizations. In 1998, he served as an assistant at the International Development Law Institute in Rome, Italy and appeared as a panelist on an Italian news program addressing a United States’ military incident resulting in the death of Italian citizens. In 2000, he assisted the United States Mission to the United Nations and participated in the historical planning of the 2000 Millennium Summit. Stewart is fluent in Italian.

  • Represented a U.S. based institution in a foreign dispute through international arbitration

  • Structured multiple private equity investment entities

  • Negotiated multiple long term leases, ground leases, and alternative leaseback arrangements

  • Successfully closed multi-million dollars of secured loans

  • Represented national and foreign clients in the purchase and sale of real estate property

  • Represented national and foreign clients in estate asset protection, planning, and wealth transfers
